I went for the first time with high expectations. I scheduled an appointment but when I got there they asked me to sit with a smock. I was waiting for 20-25 minutes and nobody came to get me or even asked me if I needed help. I got up went to the front desk and told her what happened and told her I have to leave as I had to be somewhere. She said sorry we are really busy as it's prom day, I am sorry.
So why did she give me appointment? She could have just said sorry we are busy today.
Beautiful Salon. Friendly staff. Maria who dried and styled my hair did a great job. I had a full bayaloge, on completely natural hair. Requested a dark caramel color. My hair is now dry and unmanageable, colors ranging from bleach blonde to dark caramel. Color is uneven and looks like I had highlights 6 months ago and am in need of a touch up. Tori was may hair colorist, I saw her for maybe 10 minutes. For a $175 I feel like I got ripped off.
Anyway my first experience was not at all what I expected it to be.
Travelle is awesome! I just had my first appointment and it was relaxing and easy. He was very knowledgeable on hair care and patient in helping me through my natural hair journey. He also has a diverse portfolio which appealed to me because I believe that the best stylists know how to do more than one type of hair. He was very friendly and professional. Such a 180 from my horrible small shop experience! I highly recommend booking an appointment with Travelle!
